Directions to Washpen Chalet

 

Coming from Methven:
At the Rakaia Gorge Bridge follow the white line on the road for 8.2 kms.
Turn left into gravel road, drive 400 metres and turn left at Washpen Falls sign.

Coming from Darfield:

Turn at the sign to Mt Hutt and drive to Glentunnel. Through Glentunnel is a one lane bridge. Set speedo here and follow the road for 16.5 kms. Turn right into gravel road, drive 400 metres and turn left at Washpen Falls sign.
