START YOUR ART DECO EXPERIENCE AS SOON AS YOU
ARRIVE IN NAPIER.
Welcome
to the Plaister family bach, restored from a
bricklayer's workshop that was originally built
after the 1931 earthquake. As Art Deco
enthusiasts we have recreated this space with
1930's decor and collectables. We offer you this
step back in time, in the comfort of today.

leave by 11.00am on your departure day, please
strip all used linen, put any cleaned or
unused linen away, put 1 load of washing on,
do your dishes. We will do the rest. Thank you

DANGERS
FOR YOUNG CHILDREN:
Young children should be closely supervised by
an adult at all times around laddered bunk,
spiral staircase, electrical appliances,
cupboards and draws, storage box, open
courtyard, upstairs windows and other domestic
dangers. IF THIS NOTE WORRIES YOU WE
RECOMMEND YOU CONSIDER ONE OF OUR MORE TODDLER
FRIENDLY, FENCED, SINGLE LEVEL ,COTTAGES WHICH
ARE ADJACENT TO THIS BACH. (SEE

A TRADITIONAL
'KIWI BACH' is a colloquial North
Island term referring to a basic secondary abode
/ temporary escape / retreat / simple furniture
/ smiling faces / extended family and friends /
books / carefree / childlike / romantic /
nostalgic /
usually by a river, lake, or at the
seaside. Hence the phrase 'BEACH BACH'. (We
have a beach bach for rent at Porangahau Beach,
1.5 km south of Napier,
