Located at Kakanui Beach 12 km south of Oamaru, Cobblestone Cabin is an intimate and cosy, fully self contained unit which sleeps two. Kakanui is well known for it’s tranquility. Add to that a history of market gardens, plus wonderful surfing, fishing and whitebaiting, and you just know you are about to relax somewhere very special indeed.
Cobblestone Cabin provides the ideal base from which to enjoy the fabulous costal scenery and watch both yellow-eyed and little blue penguins, or visit the famous Moeraki Boulders, the historic Oamaru buildings, or one of the Heritage Trails. Or you could just relax in the cosy privacy of the cabin as long as you wish.
Located within a two minute stroll, the local store provides all your daily needs including Post Office, Bottle Store and Fish & Chips. The local restaurant offers noon and evening dining for your convenience. All linen, cutlery and crockery are provided. Just bring yourselves.

The accommodation comprises of a room with double bed, small kitchen and well fitted en suite shower room. Sit on the small veranda and watch the sun go down over the distant mountains. All linen, crockery and cutlery are provided.
