Dolphin View is a wonderful 3 bedroom beach
front house located right on Curio Bay. The
house has 1 queen, 1 double and 3 single beds.
The house has all cooking facilities, including
a new electric range and oven, new
fridge/freezer, pots, pans, plates etc. The
house also has electric heating to keep you
warm. There are absolutely magnificent views to
be had from the lounge. Watch the local Hectors
Dolphins during the summer months from your
couch. The world famous fossil forest at Curio
Bay is only 5 minutes walk away. You can view NZ
sea lions and Hectors dolphins here regularly.
There are also penguins galore in this area, the
rare yellow eyed penguins and the little blue
penguins. Due to this sorry no pets are allowed.
The Catlins Surf school/hire operates 7 days in
front of the shop at Curio Bay Campground where
you can also buy your supplies.
This area of the Catlins has some of the most
amazing wildlife on earth and you can view it
all for free.
