Description:

Located approximately 45 mins by train or car from Wellington, this charming updated turn of the 20th Century cottage, is situated only 100 m from the beach front on the Kapiti Coast with wide views of the rolling surf. At low tide, the clean flat beach is ideal for strolling along. The peace and tranquillity of the location is ideal for inducing creativity in writers and artists.

Take a 5 min walk to the local village where you will find most of your requirements including cafes, restaurants, bar and art gallery. The larger township of Paraparaumu has an extensive range of modern shops and is only a 6 min drive away.

• Tourist attractions include:
  Lindale Village which has award winning cheeses’ gourmet ice creams, wild honeys, olive oils etc.

• Southward car museum internationally famous for its amazing collection of vintage cars and motor bikes.

• Kapiti Island Bird Sanctuary plus cycle tracks and walkways including the Tararua foothills.

Rooms & Facilities:

 “Everon Cottage” has two main double bedrooms, one of which includes a small sun-room extension. The central lounge has a large, efficient wood burner stove capable of heating the whole cottage interior in winter months. The modern kitchen is fully equipped with electric cooking facilities, and two fridges.

On a lower level downstairs is a modernised bathroom with a wet area shower, as well as a large English style porcelain bath. An adjoining room contains full laundry facilities.

Broadband is also available at the cottage.
