Lyness Cottage is
a very romantic getaway located 5 minutes from
Kerikeri in the picturesque Bay of Islands. It
is an historic 1920's cottage that has been
carefully restored. It is one of the original
buildings of the homestead and has been
relocated on our property to maximise the water
views and privacy.
The kitchen
cupboards with leaded glass, a kauri benchtop,
and the polished rimu floors were recycled from
the main house. French doors open onto a sunny
verandah and deck with unobstructed views over
the Kerikeri Inlet. Enjoy seclusion and
tranquillity in this magic spot. Awake to the
sound of tuis, watch sheep grazing at your
doorstep, or take a stroll through the beautiful
surrounding gardens.
The cottage comes
supplied with fresh flowers, local chocolates, a fruit bowl, tea and coffee, and 'Living
Nature' toiletries. Ideal for honeymoon and
wedding anniversary couples!
