Nestled among the cottages of historic South Street, the oldest fully preserved street in New Zealand, are Biddle, Briar and Dillon Cottages. Quiet and peaceful, yet only 3 minutes walk from the colourful city centre of Nelson, the cottages offer guests cosy and charming colonial accommodation with modern amenities and total privacy and independence.

You are only a stroll away from galleries, studios, cafes, and theatres. A few minutes drive out of Nelson there are vineyards with the stylish, bright flavoured wines this area is becoming well known for.

There are the mountains, the lakes, the rivers and the beaches - all part of Nature's playground. Walkways, golf courses, National Parks, trout fishing rivers, sea kayaking, Heritage Trails, Museums and many other activities and attractions are nearby and easily accessible to young and old.

Nelson is the home of the Wearable Art Awards, the Adam Chamber Music Festival, the New Year Jazz Festival, the Taste Nelson Wine & Food Festival as well as musical, sporting and theatrical events by performers from all round the world.

Rooms & Facilities:
The cottages are located in a quiet, centrally located, historic street. Each cottage has two Double (or Queen) bedrooms with a fold-down couch in the living room. There are full kitchen and laundry facilities with a living and dining area. Telephone, TV, stereo (with a selection of music).

You may find a book on the bookshelf which takes your fancy. There is a cosy wood fire with firewood provided. A secure garden courtyard with outdoor furniture is behind each cottage and a barbecue is available on request.

 Servicing during your stay is by arrangement.
