at Taiharuru Farms Lodge provides the ultimate
executive or family retreat. Designed by one of
New Zealands leading architects on the New
Zealand colonial style the Guesthouse is
luxuriously appointed. It has three bedrooms and
is fully self-contained. This accommodation
operates on a self-catering basis for those
wanting undisturbed relaxation. Its surroundings
of native bush and expansive coastal views over
the secluded cove and private beach offer the
absolute best of what New Zealand has to offer.
Activities: Swimming or snorkeling from your
secluded cove below the guesthouse. Rock fishing
or low tide exploring the foreshore. Walks
across the farm. Kayaking (by arrangement).
Area attractions: Bay of Islands. Waipoua Kauri
Forest. Tutukaka (Poor Knights Islands
diving/snorkeling and game fishing). Local
beaches (swimming and surfing). Mt Manaia walk
and Bream Head reserve.

holiday rental home The Guesthouse comprises
three bedrooms, two double, and one twin,
together with additional foldout double in the
rumpus room. The fully equipped kitchen is
fitted with quality German appliances while the
separate lounge and dining areas contain a wood
burner fireplace. Stereo, DVD, TV (sky digital)
compliment the entertainment areas with the
front decks extensive ocean views and sheltered
rear courtyard with barbeque and outdoor dining.
The Guesthouse was architect designed to
complement its special natural surroundings with
touches like its natural New Zealand timber
hardwood floors, stone fireplace and beamed
ceilings.
