A 4-room Boutique Lodge with 6 stand-alone
self-contained Bush Suites nestled in 50 acres
of bush close to the magical source of the
Riwaka River. Architect designed and built to
the highest standards with lots of native
timbers, our Bush Suites have spectacular views
over the Kahurangi wilderness. Relax and enjoy
the peaceful outlook, the native birds and the
tranquil sunny setting from your private deck.
Inside you have all the luxuries of the Lodge -
big fluffy towels and heated tiles, bathrobes,
comfortable bed with clean cotton bedding and a
natural decor to match your environment. You
also have access to the Lodge facilities
including pool, spa, gym, massages and bush
walks in addition to maps, books, TV/CD/DVD &
games, laundry service & wifi.
Your tariff includes a daily breakfast hamper
including home baked bread and freshly ground
coffee, cooked breakfast at the Lodge is
included for the Bush Lodge guests. In the
evening, cook up a treat on your BBQ, eat at a
local seafront café or dine at the Lodge where
we showcase the bountiful fresh local produce in
a French-Mediterranean style four-course
dégustation dinner matched with the finest

Your hosts, Clare & Peter, are passionate about
the New Zealand outdoors. We arrange
eco-friendly nature and activity breaks using
small local operators devoted to the region and
its conservation. We offer everything from
walking and kayak trips in the Abel Tasman, bird
watching and cycling through to multi-day trips
in the Kahurangi or Abel Tasman.
Accessible by road, 45 minutes from Nelson
Airport and 15 minutes from Kaiteriteri, gateway
to the Abel Tasman.
