Directions for The Resurgence
From Nelson, the airport and Motueka
Follow SH6 towards Richmond/Takaka/Collingwood. Keep
straight-ahead bypassing Richmond town centre and turn right
on SH60, the Appleby Highway, towards Motueka/Takaka/Collingwood.
Pass through Motueka and then the small township of Riwaka and
onwards past the two turnings on the right going to Abel
Tasman National Park (Kaiteriteri & Marahau).
After a further 2km, at the foot of the Takaka Hill, take the
small turning on the left down Riwaka Valley Road (sign-posted
with a blue bed LODGE sign and a brown sign to Riwaka
Resurgence & Kahurangi National Park). Follow this road
straight-ahead (right/north branch) towards the source of the
river for 5.7 kms until you see the sign for the lodge on the
right (just after a deer farm and then the road narrows sign).
We are 50 minutes from Nelson airport and 15 minutes from
Motueka. |
