Cottage is situated on a 6 acre smallholding in
a rural area on the outskirts of Christchurch,
yet is only a 12 minute drive to the city
centre. The Cottage is set on its own 2 acre
secluded garden 75 metres from the main house.
Guests may also stroll through the large kitchen
garden and adjoining apple orchard, which have
been managed on organic principles for the past
20 years. The garden has some interesting
architectural features and would appeal to keen
gardeners or environmentalists. There are
beehives in the orchard and diverse plantings
have been planned for the benefit of the the
bees and birds.
